Who Am I?

My name is Babita, a mum of two boys and wife to a Teacher. I set up this small business in 2017, working from our family home in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. I love making beautiful handmade products and I am always coming up with new ideas to keep the business fresh. I also work with other businesses to make bespoke signs and I sell my work in local gift shops.

What I Create

I specialise in creating handmade wooden gifts using the art of Pyrography and I work with all types of quality hard woods. Nothing can quite match the natural warmth and beauty of this rustic material. All the products are designed and created by myself and I cater for all occasions. SBS - June 2018

In June 2018 we were awarded a ‘Small Business Sunday’ award (SBS) by Businessman and BBC’s Dragons Den programme, Theo Paphitis. We are delighted he has seen creativity, drive and passion we have in our small business and we can’t wait to see where this takes us!

Run by a company called the Aqua Design Group, they awarded us the ‘Queen of Wooden Gifts’ badge. This is a Twitter competition which celebrates women in business and we were honoured to be crowned!
